As a soon to be graduate from Ball State University pursuing a degree in advertising with a concentration in media planning, I have acquired indispensable and unique skills to be transferred into the work place.

Throughout my four years at a prominent educational institution, I have studied many majors and explored a diverse list of curriculum. I am leaving Ball State University with a vast knowledge of the telecommunication, marketing and advertising industry, as well as an insight on the entrepreneurial aspect of the business world. My first two years of college were frantic as I hopped between several majors and minors including digital video/audio production, marketing, information technology, and entrepreneurship. I found my niche as I entered the Advertising track. These several years of trying to find the right educational path gave me fantastic insights and new perspectives that have enhanced my ability as an advertiser.

As a member of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity, I developed leadership skills, fought adversity and achieved success with a True Merit Nomination. I took a role on the executive board and judicial board committee. Throughout my four years as a member of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity I spent hundreds of hours serving the community, raised thousands of dollars for charities and implemented legislation to better my organization and the Ball State Greek community.

While in school I had the fortunate opportunity to complete two internships. For my first internship, I was a desktop publisher and quality controller at School Datebooks in West Lafayette, IN. For this job, I was task to design, create, audit and revise school planners for schools all across the nation. While working with clients from Stanford, Oxford and Yale, I found that I was able to work effectively and efficiently with constantly changing demands. I was able to prove myself as a hard worker with a quick learning pace.

During the fall of 2015, I was hired as an unpaid digital media intern for JB Poindexter. For this internship, I was tasked with helping in the development of their website. In the 10 weeks I worked there, I was able to go from having zero website design experience to being comfortable using a multitude of web development tools and programs.

After several years of professional and academic development, I have shown to be a hardworking and fast-learning professional who has the logical and mathematical abilities of the left side of the brain and the creative and imaginative abilities of the right side.
